The Real Food Mamas Podcast is about two crunchy moms chatting about health, nutrition, and motherhood. The Real Food Mamas are passionate about pregnancy, postpartum, and healthy living for the whole family. Through their combination of professional skills (Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Dietitian) they're able to provide expert information, while admitting they're still figuring out life as new moms. They discuss everything related to the challenges of parenting, to making pregnancy, birth, and postpartum empowering experiences, to simple and efficient things you can do (starting today!) to keep yourself and your whole family healthy. Listen to Steph & Elana share stories, discuss their views, and interview experts about topics ranging from baby led weaning, elimination communication, sleep, home birth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding struggles, babywearing, parenting styles, diastesis recti, pelvic floor health, their favorite products and of course their passion for real food. All done very respectfully in a judgment-free zone because we’re all learning together.

You'll also hear many different examples and see that there is no one right way to incorporate more self-care into your days. Hopefully this episode will give you the inspiration and motivation to make sure you give yourself the time and space to take a break from your many roles (mom, wife, professional...) for a few hours a week so you can breathe and just be yourself.
