On today’s show, we welcome Katy Bray who has a wealth of knowledge and passion for the ancient Indian medicine called Ayurveda. For those who know about this traditional medicine and for those who have no idea what the heck this is… you guys are in for a treat! Katy takes us through how we can use Ayurvedic philosophy to not only help heal the body but also, how we can better understand our unique mental/emotional temperaments. She explains how our unique temperaments react to stress differently and shares tools that will help us when we fall out of balance. Her background in Ayurveda has provided her with a relevant and life-changing lens in which to see the world. Coupled with her own life experiences as a mother, Katy has dedicated her life to sharing how wellness in all aspects of ourselves is the key to happiness, vitality and a life well lived.  She is the co-founder of Lead with the Lights On with her husband, mother of two 15-year-old girls and 5 furry children.... and we can't forget her crazy hermit crab!

Dr. Daniel Singley is a San Diego-based board certified psychologist and Director of The Center for Men’s Excellence. His research and practice focus on men’s mental health with a particular emphasis on reproductive psychology and the transition to fatherhood. He is Past President of the American Psychological Association’s Section on Positive Psychology and currently serves on the Board of the APA’s Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity as well as Postpartum Support International. He conducts trainings and presentations around the country to assist individuals and organizations to enhance their level of father inclusiveness and founded the grant-funded Basic Training for New Dads, Inc nonprofit in order to give new fathers the tools they need to be highly engaged with their infants as well as their partners. In his free time, Dr. Singley likes to cook, surf, read, and take his two sons on hikes to get muddy and throw rocks at things. Follow him on social media @MenExcel.
